POSTPARTUM CARE AND SUPPORT
I take the time to get to know you, your concerns and your needs, be it feeling low, a painful perineum, feeding concerns or baby weight. I'm just a call away for professional care.
Breastfeeding is a skill, and like any skill it can be tricky to master but with support, from friends, family, peers and professionals you are more likely to succeed. I can be as responsive as you need, from a single visit for reassurance to multiple visits where more help is needed.
UNWELL BABY AND INFANT CPR
Individual or group sessions focusing on confident care, recognizing and responding to the unwell baby and infant resusitation. Sessions for parents, carers and helpers.
Baby massage classes and individual teaching at home. Learn loving touch techniques with your baby.
Weekly postnatal and breastfeeding peer support group.
Thank you so much for helping me out today. You’ve helped restore my confidence. ”

“Thank you so much Melanie for your kind words and support...Just wanted to let you know that thanks to your encouragement I hung in there and fed him lying down (which I’ve never been able to do in the past as I could never get him to latch). Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! xoxo”

Hi Melanie, I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for all of your support yesterday. Just 1 hour with you has made all the difference. He has been feeding well and we managed to get home from the hospital today with bilirubin levels down from 316 to 240! Thanks again”
